New York Appleseed Receives Major Grant

The Donors’ Education Collaborative, a prestigious group of 13 funders, awarded $1 million in grants to 11 nonprofit groups dedicated to reducing inequality and increasing opportunity for all students. New York Appleseed and the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund received a joint grant to advocate for policies that will create more dual language programs and promote school diversity.
