New York Appleseed Supports Culturally Responsive Education

New York Appleseed is proud to stand with the NYC Coalition for Educational Justice in their campaign for Culturally Responsive Education. Big thanks to Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito and Daniel Dromm for championing this initiative in the city council. Racially and economically integrated schools require teachers, administrators, and other school personnel who are trained in cultural competency.
