Last week, Mayor Mamdani and Schools Chancellor Kamar Samuels visited Arts & Letters 305 United, a merged school that equitably brought two different school communities together. NY Appleseed, in collaboration with the NYC Comptroller’s Office, published a report in 2024 highlighting this school as a powerful model for what REAL school integration can look like.
